Spring is upon us! And hopefully, that means some nice sunny weather on the way not to mention summer holidays. Now we all know heat damage from electrical tools can affect your hair but did you know heat ad rays from the sun can also affect your hair?

The sun can fade your colour, it is the same process that happens if you leave something on the window sill for too long. But more importantly, it can dry out your hair. A lack of moisture in the hair shaft can lead to brittleness and breakage if left unchecked. `2So I've gathered some helpful tips and tricks for you to protect your hair and keep it shiny and healthy whilst soaking up the rays!

  1. The best advice I can give you is to cover up, wearing a hat is the ultimate protection from the sun. It will stop your colour from fading and more importantly your scalp from burning.

  2. If you don't wear a hat remember to put on scalp sun cream, it comes in a spray and it won't make your hair greasy!

  3. Invest in a good hair mask, I'd recommend the dry hair nutritive mask by Everygreen. It contains shea butter to nourish and moisturize your scalp and hair as well as coconut oil to hydrate and add fatty acids.

  4. If you can help it, don't add extra heat! Put the hot tools down and opt for heatless styles or updos.

You can order your hair mask and any other products here!
