How to book at Meg Piper Hair

We do things a little differently at Meg Piper Hair so here’s a guide on what to expect when booking. Firstly, our ‘core opening hours’ are Friday 10am-7pm and Saturday 9am-4pm these are the only days you can prebook in advance. Wednesday and Thursdays are available but will be realised on the Monday of that week to book, this is to minimise cancellations due to Meg’s session work. Appointments available that week will be advertised on Instagram on a Monday and you will be able to book online. If your looking to book an appointment (for regular clients) please use one of the following options

Consultation and skin testing

Consultations are required before a colour service. These must be carried out at least 48 hours before your colour appointment and are done with your safety and satisfaction in mind. Consultation appointments last around 30 minutes and will be charged at £30 if you chose not to book on the for your colour on the day of consultation. If you book your service, you will be required to pay a booking fee and the consultation fee will be waivered. The booking fee will be deducted from your colour service on the day of your appointment as long as you adhere to the bookings and cancellations policy below.

Skin tests must be carried out with a consultation and a service will not be carried out if a skin test has not been completed in the proper amount of time. If you have a reaction to a skin test, you must let us know as soon as you can. We will attempt to find an alternative solution for your service and any booking fee previously paid will be refunded if a suitable service cannot be carried out. Skin tests can be needed at any time due to ingredient changes or due to an extended period in between appointments.

Bookings and cancelations 

Booking fees are to secure your appointment costing 1/3 of your total bill (unless booking online where 50% is required). These fees will be deducted from your service and will either be paid at the time of making the appointment or 1st of the month of the appointment via text. Once you receive a text requesting payment of booking fees the payment is required within 48 hours or your appointment could be cancelled. If you cancel or change your appointment booking fees will be transferrable as long as 48 hour notice has been given. If you cancel within the 48 hour window any fees paid, will not be refunded. For repeated last-minute cancellations we will require payment upfront. If you wish to book an appointment within 48 hours we require payment upfront. For appointments booked within 48 hours the full payment will be needed prior to the appointment and you will not receive a refund.

Lateness 

​We have a 10-minute grace period with our appointments but if you arrive any later than 10 minutes we may have to down grade your service to fit the time left or if there isn’t enough time for a service cancel the appointment. In the case of cancelation, our cancelation polies still apply, and you will not be refunded any fees that have already paid.
